The Distance sensor consists of two parts: transmitter and receiver; The working principle is that the propagation speed of light is much faster than that of sound waves. Therefore,it can be assumed that the propagation time of light is 0. The transmitter sends an infrared light signal to inform the receiver the beginning time of ultrasonic wave and sends the ultrasonic wave, the receiver receives the light signal and start to record the beginning time and counts until it receives the ultrasonic signal ,so as to calculate the time used for ultrasonic propagation.
